Tag Name: <ACRONYM> </ACRONYM>
Indicates an acronym. By marking up acronyms you can provide useful information to browsers, spell checkers, translation systems and search-engine indexing systems.
Note: The title attribute can be used with some browsers to display the full breakout when hovering over the acronym. The difference between an abbreviation and an acronym is that the acronym is pronouncable. It is also commonly created from the initials of the term or phrase whereas the abbreviation is often merely a truncated form of the word.
